A Stage 2 remap builds on the work done in Stage 1. It is designed to give you even more power & performance through making additional modifications. This can be anything from a better exhaust system to a bigger intercooler.

Exhaust Gas Recirculation, or EGR, is designed to reduce carbon emissions but can reduce engine efficiency. An EGR Delete means removing the EGR Valve from the vehicle. This in turn improves your fuel efficiency and increases power. It’s no wonder it’s such a popular modification to have. 

A Diesel Particulate Filter, or DPF, is a filter designed to be installed in the exhaust system to filter soot and other debris from the engine exhaust. When the DPF is working, it reduces power, and your fuel economy is affected. It can also cause engine damage if it becomes clogged. 

Swirl Flaps are designed to help cars to have lower carbon emissions and generate better torque at low speeds. Many drivers have found that they can in fact cause more problems for your car’s engine than they solve and so removing them is the best option. 

Most stock diesel vehicles will hit the pre-set RPM limiter and will stay at that exact RPM point until the driver intervenes. A Popcorn Limiter changes how the engine behaves and sounds when it reaches the RPM limiter.

Looking for a bit more of a sportier feel? A Pop & Bang is something that can be programmed into the ECU when remapping and produces a pop and bang noise from the exhaust during deceleration. 

Lambda removal is the process of removing oxygen sensors during the remapping process. It is intended to mean that you will enjoy better fuel economy, more engine power, and cleaner emissions while having more performance overall.

AdBlue is a liquid chemical used in the Selective Catalytic Reduction of Diesel vehicles. It is designed to reduce nitrogen oxide levels. The system is complicated which means there is room for many things to fail and constant refilling of AdBlue.
